After 13 years of successfully meeting the challenges of the Victoria Real Estate market, many highlights come to mind. This has been a wonderful opportunity for me to share the lifestyle that the Victoria area has to offer. There is no better place to follow your dreams. I work in the service industry, so providing good service is my goal. As a customer I am impressed and grateful when I receive exceptional service. These are feelings I want my clients to experience. Over the years I have experienced a shift in what is demanded of me as a realtor.  Initially I provided the information required for my clients to work optimally in an ever changing real estate market. As conditions become more challenging because of changes brought on by legal issues, and bank and insurance company policies, I find more of my time is spent problem solving.

I am continually updating my knowledge and skills, regarding the market and real estate law, through seminars, committee work, relevant courses, and continually reading about what is happening in the industry. I have a passion for my work so putting in the extra hours is enjoyable. I have learned a lot from each of the hundreds of deals I have worked on. My growing strengths in marketing and negotiating have given my clients an advantage in a competitive marketplace. As a result of my business success, I received the Royal Lepage Award of Excellence for consistently being in the top 5 to 10% of Royal Lepage agents in Canada. I am looking forward to new challenges with my new company, Pemberton Holmes.

My background and interests have provided connections with many of the people I meet. I grew up in a small, Northern Ontario, mining town called South Porcupine. I graduated from Queens University in Kingston On., and Lakeshore Teachers College in Toronto. As a teacher I worked in Sault Sainte Marie, Moose Factory, Red Lake, and Wakham Bay in Arctic Quebec before moving to Vancouver Island in 1975. I completed a successful teaching career in the Cowichan Valley. I enjoy spending time with my 3 children and 3 adorable grandsons. I can also be found enjoying tennis, golf and fishing. Victoria offers me an enjoyable lifestyle and this gives me the focus to guide clients to homes where they can maximize an enjoyable lifestyle. I have sold condos, townhomes, land developments, apartment buildings and campgrounds. Each sale brings with it the challenges that make my job interesting.
